My Approach
OnyourWeddingDay
The Photographer

My name is Mike Joseph, and for the past 9 years, I have had the incredible honor of capturing the moments from one of the most important days in people’s lives—weddings. My photography style blends posed and candid moments, ensuring your unique story is told beautifully within the best of both worlds.
As a wedding photographer, my goal is to make you and your loved ones feel comfortable and look your best. I strive to document the day as it unfolds, capturing genuine emotions while also stepping in to create beautiful moments when necessary. I understand that weddings are filled with spontaneous emotion, and my approach allows me to blend into the background while still being present to capture those fleeting moments.
My journey began at the International School of Photography in NYC, where I honed my craft. I further enriched my skills by attending workshops in Chicago and Las Vegas with world-renowned wedding photographers and Nikon Ambassadors, Jerry Ghionis and Rocco Ancora. Their expertise and insights have helped shape my style and approach to wedding photography.
I would love the opportunity to discuss your wedding plans and how I can help you capture the magic of your special day.
Looking forward to connecting!
Warm regards,
Mike Joseph

Natural Light
And Flash

As a wedding photographer, my passion lies in creating stunning images that tell your unique story, regardless of the lighting conditions. From the serene beauty of dark clouds to the vibrant glow of bright sunlight, I embrace all types of lighting situations.
The ability to work seamlessly with both natural light and flash is essential in my craft. While many photographers only shoot in natural light, this approach can be limiting, especially on days when the weather doesn’t cooperate or during indoor ceremonies in low-light settings.
Over the years, I have mastered the art of reading light and creating it when necessary. This skill enables me to transform challenging environments into stunning backdrops for your wedding photos.Understanding how light works is one of the most important factors in creating beautiful photographs.
Warmly,
Mike Joseph
My equipment
When photographing a once-in-a-lifetime event, it’s important to have the best gear you can get while also having backup equipment. This is why I always carry multiple camera bodies with a vast array of lenses and lighting equipment with me.
